Experts of "Kaspersky Lab" summed up the results of virus activity in July, August and September 2012. During the quarter, the analysts found, for example, gastronomic preferences of the malware in terms of versions of the Android platform. The trend of intensive growth in the number of new mobile malware for Android OS is preserved in the last quarter, so the company's experts decided to determine users of any platform versions, often become targets of criminals. It turned out that malware prefer "gingerbread" and "ice cream", that is, Android OS version 2.3.6 Gingerbread ("gingerbread") and Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.4 ("ice cream sandwich").
