Samsung Galaxy A8 will cost at least $515

Samsung has officially announced the release of the thinnest smartphone in its history — Galaxy A8. The phone will go on sale in China later this month. From the beginning, Samsung was silent for a cost of A8, but thanks to Chinese website CNMO, we still learned how much it can be purchased in China.

The Rumors about the price of a new device in principle is confirmed: so version Galaxy A8 with 16GB RAM will cost about $515, and the version with 32GB RAM is about $564.

Although this is the thinnest Samsung smartphone with a thickness of just 5.9 mm, the model A8 is quite impressive in size at the expense of a 5.7 –inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels, length 158 mm and a width of 76.8 mm. Almost the same dimensions, the Apple iPhone 6 Plus.

Galaxy A8 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, it is based on a metal frame. This is the first phone from Samsung Serie A with fingerprint scanner and 16MP rear camera. Among other features worth noting: 5MP front camera, 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM and support microSD card and battery capacity of 3050 mAh.
