[MWC 2015] HTC One M9 is the new flagship in the old design

At a press conference in the framework of the exhibition MWC 2015, the company has Netspective new flagship smartphone.

As expected, the highlight of the program was the HTC One M9, which in appearance differs little from predecessor, but has acquired a fresh “filling”. Telling and showing directly from the event, a newly made apparatus from the Taiwan manufacturer. The design of the device was subjected to only cosmetic changes. Among these we can mention the transfer of the lock buttons on the right side of the device, which is constantly requested by the fans of HTC.

As for the updated “stuffing”, the smartphone, like its predecessor, received a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, however has got the top-end 64-bit 8-core Snapdragon 810 (2.0 GHz) and a graphics accelerator Adreno 430.

Additionally, HTC One M9 is equipped with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory which can be expanded with flash storage up to 128 GB and battery 2 840 mAh. The novelty works on the operating system Android 5.0 preloaded with proprietary shell Sense 7.0. Device dimensions — 144,6x69,7x9,6 mm.

It is Worth noting that engineers have Tsukasas from the Ultrapixel technology in the main chamber of the device which was used in the previous flagship model. New 20-megapixel photo module with dual-LED flash protected by sapphire and is capable of recording 4K video. In turn, 4-megapixel front-facing camera retained the above-mentioned technology, which allows to increase the image quality in the night time.

The Device will be available in color variations: silver, dark gray and gold. The smartphone will go on sale in mid-March. The price of HTC One M9 is still unknown.
