Highscreen Alpha GTX - Russia's first budget 5.7-inch smartfonoplanshet

The Russian company "Vobis Computer", the owner of the brand Highscreen, represents a new flagship smartphone – Highscreen Alpha GTX. Novelty is the most functional model in a series of Alpha and second smartphone brand with a Quad-core processor (after the Explosion, similar to the SGSIII).

Highscreen Alpha GTX – the first on the Russian market budget "smartfonoplanshet" with 5.7-inch display, based on a processor with four cores. The model uses the latest chipset MediaTek MT6589 with a powerful graphics accelerator PowerVR SGX544.

The Company "Vobis Computer," introduced its first smartphone series of Alpha in August 2012. Model Highscreen Alpha GTR was the first in Russia and in the world of "dual SIM" smartphone with HD screen and dual-core processor. In this case, and in the senior Alpha GTR, and in the youngest Alpha GT has implemented a number of technical solutions that were not previously found in budget smartphones: 1 GB of RAM (compared to the usual 512 MB), front camera 2 MP (vs 0.3 or 1.3 MP), 8-megapixel main camera (instead of the standard class 5 MP), IPS screens produced by the Japanese Sharp (compared to conventional TFT displays).

In January 2013 has been released an updated version of Alpha GT, Alpha GT Rev B, which has received a dual-core MediaTek MT6577 – as for Highscreen Alpha GTR. In the end, to date, the Alpha series smartphones sold in Russia with a circulation of more than 150 thousand pieces, becoming one of the most popular models with support of two SIM-cards in the second half of 2012 – early 2013.

Today "Vobis Computer" is the third model of the family of Alpha – Highscreen Alpha GTX. This unit is the first Russian budget "smartfonoplanshet" with 5.7-inch display and Quad-core processor. The model uses the latest chipset MediaTek MT6589, which is designed for low-cost devices and provides the performance level of the flagship smartphones of 2012. The chipset includes Quad-core 1.2-GHz CPU architecture ARM Cortex-A7 and a graphics accelerator PowerVR SGX544.

Highscreen Alpha GTX is the second "Quad-core" smartphone in the line of the brand Highscreen. The first model Highscreen Explosion, which went on sale in February 2013, is based on the processor Samsung Exynos 4412 and is a budget analog Samsung Galaxy S III.

A Feature of the new Highscreen Alpha GTX is also an IPS screen with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels at a diagonal of 5.7-inch. The release of smartphones with such diagonal (the so-called phablet, "smartpeople") is a new trend in the market of mobile electronic gadgets. In particular, the exhibitions CES 2013 and MWC 2013 models with comparable diagonal introduced a number of international companies, including ZTE, Huawei and TCL/Alcatel. Highscreen Alpha GTX is one of the first devices of this class, represented on the Russian market. And first with Quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor.

Highscreen Alpha GTX has a full set of wireless modules (GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G), basic 8-megapixel camera, front camera with a resolution of 2 megapixels, two slots for SIM-cards and battery 3,000 mAh. The latter provides smartphone up to two days of battery life. Operates Alpha GTX running one of the latest versions of Android – 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Sales of Highscreen Alpha GTX will begin in late may 2013. The cost model will be 11 990 rubles. As with other products Highscreen, the novelty provided by a one-year warranty with free delivery in Moscow service center and back using the Express service of "Mail of Russia".
