HP SlateBook X2: official announcement

After less than two weeks after the leak of information from the AnTuTu benchmark, HP officially announced its first Android laptop SlateBook X2.

Basically, HP SlateBook X2 can hardly be called a classic laptop, rather new product is a hybrid with a detachable keyboard similar to the ASUS devices.

Equipped with a 10.2-inch IPS-display with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels and brightness of 400 nits, the HP SlateBook X2 is based on a Quad-core Nvidia Tegra 4, has in stock 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal flash memory, complemented by a space cards microSD up to 64 GB, two USB ports and an HDMI port, and, in addition to the main battery in the tablet element, the second battery in the keyboard dock, extending the limit of Autonomous work hybrid to 8 hours.

The tablet HP SlateBook X2 running Android 4.2.2, its preliminary cost is $ 480, the estimated date of the beginning of sales - August 2013.
