New EMUI OS 9.0 will be available this month for HUAWEI P20 and P20 PRO

The Chinese company Huawei has announced that an updated version of the proprietary user interface EMUI 9.0 will be officially available to the Russian users of smartphones and HUAWEI HUAWEI P20 P20 Pro, since the middle of December of this year.

As noted in Huawei, created based on Android operating system 9.0 Pie, EMUI 9.0 improves overall performance by 12.9% and provides a rapid application launcher. EMUI 9.0 received the second generation of GPU Turbo 2.0, which significantly speeds up the processing of graphical tasks through mining, while also improving performance and reducing power consumption. The new algorithm improves the sensitivity of the touch screen and reduces the reaction time by 36%. The app Assistant helps you to configure notifications so as not to interrupt the game session.

To create the most comfortable interface Huawei engineers have reduced the menu settings to 10%, joining a number of sections and placing rarely used items in a separate tab, which greatly increased the convenience of smartphone control. The navigation bar was shifted to the lower part of the screen to improve the usability when managing with one hand. In addition, EMUI 9.0 important visual elements are moved to reduce eye strain.

EMUI 9.0 provides a higher level of data protection through built-in password vault which allows users to securely store identifiers and credentials for different applications and services. All data are encrypted and do not leave the internal memory of the smartphone, allowing you to use the autocomplete feature without the risk of leakage of personal information.

Updated interface had the opportunity to connect your smartphone to your TV or monitor wirelessly. Users can output to large screens to display presentations, photos, videos and even for video games.

EMUI 9.0 also supports wirelessly sending documents to print using Huawei Share. Function allows you to print documents directly from your smartphone with just one click, eliminating the need for copying and sending files.

Control Panel Digital Balance analyzes activity personal use of the smartphone and provides statistics on work time with each application, frequency of unlocking the screen and by time period. Using these data, users can set limits and adjust the time of work with each application.

Wind Down mode is designed to provide a comfortable bedtime routine, allowing you to customize a gradual decrease in the brightness of the display and its transition to a monochrome mode with muting notification sounds for a certain time.
