Huawei announced in Munich's new flagship Mate 9, which will be offered in two variants.
The Standard version is comparable in size to the iPhone 7 Plus, but it has a larger 5.9-inch display with Full HD resolution and 2.5 D protective glass. As a hardware basis is equipped with the latest OCTA-core Kirin processor 960 with a graphics core Mali G71, which is 50% more powerful and 20% more energy efficient than the Mali-T880.
RAM/internal memory be 4/64 GB, the latter can be increased by installing a microSD card. The battery capacity of 4000 mAh provides about two days of use, and proprietary technology will SuperCharge boost on the day after 20 minutes at the outlet.
Special attention deserves the main dual camera - Huawei joint creation with Leica. The camera consists of a 20-Megapixel monochrome and 12-Megapixel color sensor with F/2.2 aperture, optical stabilization system and dual flash. The camera uses the 2-fold hybrid optical zoom and hybrid auto focus that combines laser, phase and contrast focus depth measurements, and is capable of shooting 4K video. Under the camera is a fingerprint scanner. On the front of the metal body located front-facing camera resolution 8 MP with F/1.9 and auto focus.
The Premium version is called Mate 9 Porsche Design and differs from the standard smaller curved 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a QHD resolution, a fingerprint scanner located on the front panel and increased RAM – 6Gb and built – in 256 GB of memory.
Both models run on Android 7.0 Nougat with the updated EMUI 5.0
A Standard 9 Mate will devastate a purse of the buyer for 699 euros and the model with the prefix Porsche Design will have to part with 1349 euros. Release date not yet disclosed.
