Ended in Moscow the international hackathon, TADHack

on October 15-16 in the hackspace "Workshop Technology" for the first time in Moscow hosted the international TADHack hackathon, organized by Voximplant is a cloud platform for voice and video telephony.

Partners of the event were the Matrix, Apidaze, hSend Mobile, Telestax, Ubuntu, Cisco Spark, Tropo, Voximplant.

Technology of real-time communications — one of the most popular trends in the IT field. Instant messaging services for chatting, chat rooms and bots are actively evolving and becoming an integral part of modern business, simplifying communications with customers. TADHack hackathon aimed at popularization and development of technologies of communications, which is actively gaining momentum in the business environment.

At the same time in 33 cities around the world, including new York, Tokyo, Seattle, Athens, Berlin, Budapest, Singapore and others, the hackathon participants implement their own projects based on the technology WebRTC, HTML5 video and audio, messaging, cloud telephony and video.

For the First time this year, the international event was joined by Russia.

At TADHack in Moscow, there were more than 300 applications and selected more than 120 people. The participants had 24 hours to create a team of like-minded people who are able to create a working prototype based on their ideas in just a day. Many of the participants met each other directly inside the venue and quickly organized themselves into teams via Telegram chat.

At the end of the hackathon, the teams presented a 3-minute presentation and presented 22 unique project. An expert jury from Voximplant, the Business incubator of Moscow state University, Bitrix24, Rambler&Co, NUMA Moscow, Chatbots Community, wobot.me chose the best projects received prizes from the partners. The jury noted the high quality of the projects - each of them had a unique idea, fully disclose the potential of the technologies of real-time communications and simplified communication in the business environment.

The Winners of TADHAck hackathon in Moscow were the projects ID4T function for communication between the user of the system "smart house" and emergency service (a service selection occurs in accordance with the nature of the accident) and Smartis - synchronous (sequential) interpreter between the people talking on the phone (using the GSM network, without the Internet) with voice interface. Teams won cash prizes of $500 each.

The winners in the category from Bitrix24 are the following projects:

Zenbot - Office Bot Store for Cisco Spark.

VR Multiparty conference with WebRTC - multiplayer conference in virtual reality (using a VR - helmet).

The winner in the category Business incubator of Moscow state University was the project:

Zenbot - a framework for developing bots, adapted for Cisco Spark.

The winner in the category of Numa Moscow was the project:

ID4T function for communication between the user of the system "smart house" and emergency service (a service selection occurs in accordance with the nature of the accident).

The Winners from the Chatbots Community were the projects that have received a license to use the Azur from Microsoft:

1 — Zenbot - a framework for developing bots, adapted for Cisco Spark.

2nd place — Vcall_bot video calls inside the Telegram.

3rd place — Hack Adventure - Adventure text game with elements of comic book. And the project "Seals" - crowdsourcing assistant purchases.

4th place — The Village - video inside Telegram.
