Apple Swift language ported to Android

GitGub was published the first version of the programming language Swift that allows you to compile applications for Android.

The authors of the project note that while the version is not stable, but the ability to create a Swift app for the Green robot opens up great opportunities for developing cross-platform software.

Recall that Swift was unveiled by Apple at WWDC 2014. The worked on it for 5 years. In December, Swift has become the programming language of open source. It is not excluded that in the near future we will see Swift applications for other operating systems.
