The Downloads application widgets is growing every day. The fact that this is a great opportunity to monitor the condition of your gadget without being distracted by something else. A variety of design certainly pleases the eye. But, a huge disadvantage in all applications of this kind is their weight, and it's not only about memory but also about the bulkiness of the notification: if you want to have a summary of the required data, you have to sacrifice a larger part of the desktop (or even all of them).
